We are pleased to advise
that .nz domains are now available for registration and management using Nitro's DNS registration systems! The addition of the .nz TLD expands our growing range of available domain name extensions. The addition of the .nz TLD means you are now able to register and manage domain names for your company and product lines for all the geographic regions you trade in.
Available .nz extensions
You are now able to manage the following .nz domain name extensions using the Nitro DNS management interface:
- .ac.nz
- .co.nz
- .geek.nz
- .gen.nz
- .maori.nz
- .net.nz
- .org.nz
- .school.nz
All the above domains are not moderated, which
means there are no specific eligibility requirements.
In terms of popularity, co.nz is by far the most
popular, followed by .net.nz then .org.nz.
Transfers
If you have .nz domains with other registrars
you can transfer these to your Nitro DNS management account
free of charge (except where renewals are due).
To initiate a transfer you will need the domain
password (also called ‘UDAI’).
